OLATHE, KS – The Jared Coones Memorial Foundation is celebrating our signature event’s 19th! The Annual Jared Coones Memorial Pumpkin Run/Walk will, once again, take place at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 at Black Bob Elementary, 14701 S. Brougham in Olathe, Kan. Thanks to the past success of this event, our foundation has raised over $650,000 for charity to date.
Event Registration opens June 20, 2017. Register online or by mail on or before September 22, 2017 for a reduced entry fee of $25 individual/$20 team member. After September 22, the entry fee increases to $30 individual/$25 team member. Teams for this event are 4 or more participants that are registered in a single transaction. We welcome all runners and walkers to participate in our 5k race. For our youngest participants, we host a free post-race 50-yard Tot Trot.
Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers. The top three male and female finishers in each of the following age groups will also receive an award: Ages 7 and under, 8-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and older.

Race beneficiaries include: Children’s Mercy Cancer Center, The Dream Factory, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Heart of America Bone Marrow Donor Registry, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Solace House, and the Jared Coones Memorial Foundation.
